Unicorn Sudoku - Rules

In the Sudoku GP Estonian round , I am not clear with the rules of Unicorn sudoku. Is my interpretation right when I translate "Chess Knights placed in cells with number 9, must attack only different numbers" to all the digits that are a knight's step away from the digit 9 are different.

I did not try the example yet, but this is how I understood the rules and it seems coherent with the solution. I agree that the formulation is not perfectly clear.

Yes, all the digits which are knight step away from a 9 must be different.

I'm not clear what "different numbers" are.

All of the digits that are a knight step away must be different numbers?
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 9 would be different numbers.

And must they also be not 9?

yes, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and 9 are different numbers.
If your question is, if one of the numbers can be 9, then the answer is yes. One of the numbers can be a 9.

I hope I got the question right. If not then please make another post.

Yes, that answers my question. Thank you.
The example shows solutions with 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 as all the anti-knight possibilities;
I didn't see any with a 9 in the example.

In the example puzzle there is 9 in R3C5 and R2C7. And they are a knight step away from each other.
