solution codes: consecutive across gaps

Could someone clarify how grid gaps interact with the solution codes that count lengths of consecutive cells? I.e., for each of the following, would the code be "11" or "2"?

* Minesweeper: Blank Mine Gap Mine Blank
* Nurikabe: Blank Black Gap Black Blank
* Tents: Tent Blank Gap Blank Tent
* Slitherlink: Outside Inside Gap Inside Outside

I'd probably go for "11" in all cases, though that doesn't seem to agree with the instruction booklet if you interpret it strictly...

Sadly, it wasnt clearly explained in the example (although it could easily be...). After time expiration i realised that i have 2 submissions in wrong form...
